Sabine Venaruzzo (France)
Dad Daddy Died
Time flies in these words
This is my new tempo
D.D.D.
As a never-ending echo
From so long ago
Since you’ve been gone
Dad Daddy Died
On the roads
Rolling under a truck
Often still feel it under my skin
Since you’ve been gone
Sad Sadly Silently
Standing on the side of the road
Between two passing hills
Dad Joy, Daddy Laugh, Died Crazy
Dad Love, Daddy Migratory, Died In a smile
Since you’ve been gone
Dad Daddy Died
Poetry took root in all my screams in and out
And now makes my bodyscape walk
Wireless on the roads
Whispering to the wind :
In the dead silence of a living mother
Single word is missing
“Mom”
Mom Mommy Disappeared
from my vocabulary as soon as i tried to live
